This week for R.e we have been learning about Pentecost. I found this topic interesting because it helped me build a deeper understanding of the symbols and how  they are used. 

My goals for this week are:getting to know more about religious education. I had to create a Slide show to show that I understand what we were learning and how capable I am to do it .

This week for reading we have been doing book reviews. The book that I chose to review was Gangsta Granny By David Williams. Gangsta Granny is a very interesting book it’s about a very boring Grandma that just wants to play Scrabble, and eat cabbage soup. But this supposedly boring Grandma has a big secret that she has not told anyone. But with the help of her Grandson Ben she has a higher chance of accomplishing her goals.
But the question is:
Did Gangsta Granny accomplish her goals or did she collapse and not accomplish her goals?

Do you know why reading is so important for your education?

This week for reading we have been reading about natural resources. I learnt that Water is everywhere but in some places they don’t have fresh clean water.

My learning goal was to tell people about water and how it has different effects on farmers and other nature.

I learnt about water. One fact I learnt is that water affects how plants grow.

I chose to learn about water because it lets people know what water does for us and other people in need.

Heres something for you to go away and think about. Why is water so important to you in your daily life?

For the last four weeks of Term 3 we were learning about ‘How we can be Champions on Peace’. 

Firstly we learnt about the different symbols of peace. Some of these symbols are Mistletoe, a rainbow flag, the peace sign, the broken rifle and the white poppy.

We also researched some real life champions of peace and wrote a short biography. I wrote about St Francis. I thought this person was a champion of peace because he died on the cross for us and made life better for us.

I have attached my champion of peace writing. 

We also created a peace prayer book.

I enjoyed learning about peace because It showed me how easy it is to show peace in our daily life.

I learnt that not all peace is hard to show you do it in your everyday life.

One way I plan on being a champion of peace is by helping out the sick and poor.

This week for writing we have been doing Biographical poems.

As you can see up the top is my tally chart. I had to spin a wheel and whatever it landed on I put a line next to it. 

As you can see on my tally chart the most popular is porridge and the least common is sausage sizzle. I had to spin the wheel 45 times. After I got all my tally’s I have to put all my information on a graph. As you can see I have done a bar graph I have put all of my information on it. 

This week in math we have been learning about tally charts here is my work that I have done.

For my tally chart I rolled a dice 30 times and the most popular was 3 with a run of 7 and the least common one was 6 with a low run with 3.

I better not say too much about my tally chart but there was a little sneak peak.

What’s your favourite subject in school?

This is my Minecraft church I did this for R.E. For a person who has not been in a church before I think I did a great job.

I learned that taking time with the build is better than rushing.

Here is the task I created our task was to create a church. I think I did really good.

I learnt that the altar is the most important place of the church where the blessing of the bread and wine.
